Besides my vacation, I’ve been working on my new online store. I’m not sure when it will be launched as I am still in the process of acquiring necessary information and licenses. I will definitely post a link once the store is up and running. If you are curious, the online store will feature cutesy Asian style clothing and accessories.

What were you doing ten years ago?
Ten years ago, I just started high school. My parents were super strict, so I still had a curfew. I had to use one of those tiny little book lights just so I can stay up and read romance novels. My dad hated romance novels. LOL.

What are five things on your to-do list today?
1. Take my dad to the airport. (Done)
2. Write this entry. (Halfway done)
3. Work on my new online store website.
4. Watch “The Other Boleyn Girl” on bluray.
5. Play with my boyfriend. (LOL)

Snacks you enjoy?
This one is hard. I love to eat, and I can snack on anything. I really enjoy ice cream, and any Japanese snacks because they are so delicious!

What are 5 things you would do if you were a billionaire?
1. Buy a nice big house for my parents.
2. Travel the world without worrying about draining my bank account.
3. Buy out Google.
4. World peace. (Seriously)
5. All of the above.

People you want to know more about?
I would like to know more about my parents, my relatives and my friends. The world is full of unique people with distinct personalities. Every single experience changes a little bit of who we are, and how we perceive the world around us. There are so much for me to learn about other people.

Six Unimportant things/habits/quirks about myself:

1. I don’t like insects, especially spiders and cockroaches. I remember one time I saw a spider on the wall, my first reaction was to scream, and amazingly, the spider fell off the wall!? I swear my scream was not so loud that it would have vibrated the solid wall. Now that I am older, I’m a bit less bothered, but I still don’t like bugs.

2. I didn’t like to drink milk when I was little, and I still don’t like it now. When I was around four-years-old, my mom would give me milk in a bottle. While she was not watching, I poured it down the toilet. I was in such a rush and feeling guilty at the same time that I forgot to flush it. Ok, that wasn’t very smart. Learning from my mistake, my next tactic was to pour the milk down the bathtub. It was a brilliant idea because it didn’t involve flushing and drawing attention. For some strange reason, the milk I poured down started to “regurgitate” as soon as my mom turned on the tub water a while after. I was four, so there were many things I didn’t understand, and I definitely had a tough time explaining that one.

3. I am a complete shopaholic. I shop when I am happy; I shop when I am sad. It makes me happier when I am happy, and it lifts my spirits when I am sad.

4. I don’t drink very much alcohol. I turn completely red if I have even one sip. One time, I was at my boyfriend’s family party. I had maybe 1/10th of a glass of wine, and I started turning beet red. It didn’t help that I was wearing a burgendy top. His cousin walked over and started cracking up, and said, “Wow, you match your shirt!”.

5. I’m a perfectionist. I like things that are important to me to be perfectly clean and organized. So I’m not a neat freak all the time, just sometimes.

6. I hate the sound of metal scraping against metal. It makes my inside twist and turn, and I become very unpleasant to deal with.

However, Rose made my Friday night even more perfect. Being a relatively young site, I did not expect many visitors. But what I least expected was all the wonderful people who have come by Delicious Scent, such as Sandy, Michelle, Hani, Elin, Tink, kpriss, Denice and of course, Rose (plus the many more I have not listed). I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all, and especially Rose for sharing with me her three awards. I know I do not deserve them, but I am very flattered at the same time.
