Review: I Wanna Take A Bite of DKNY Be Delicious

DKNY Be DeliciousLaunched in 2004, Donna Karan’s Be Delicious is the first of its ‘Delicious’ series. Inspired by NYC’s nickname, “The Big Apple,” this perfume comes in an apple-shaped glass bottle with a metallic cover.

Be Delicious is a combination of apple scent with an incredible blend of exotic flowers and sensual woods. This succulent fragrance is refreshing, modern, and unique among apple scented products. Although there is a hint of sweetness, it’s not sugary. It reminds me of a lightly sweetened, crispy green apple. It’s so delicious I just wanna take a bite!

Notes included are: American Apple, Cucumber, Grapefruit, Candid Magnolia, Tuberose, White Muguet, Rose, Violet, Sandalwood, Tender Skin Accord, Blonde Woods, and White Amber.

This perfume is great for everyday use because it’s not very strong or over-powering. The scent just lingers gently on the skin, but enough to entice the senses with its yummy fragrance. Many people who’ve used Be Delicious described it as an apple-y version of Liz Claiborne’s Curve.

DKNY Be Delicious Eau de Parfum retails for $52 – $68 USD. You can click on the perfume image to go to our sponsor’s site for a discounted price.

Review: Anna Sui’s Secret Wish is a Wish Come True

Anna Sui Secret Wish Eau De Toilette SprayWhat attracted me to Anna Sui’s perfumes are its intricate bottle designs. They are very feminine and different from the normal round or rectangular shapes. Secret Wish, in this case, comes in a triangular bottle with a miniature frosted glass sculpture of a fairy sitting atop the stopper. The overall presentation is beautiful and delicate.

This attractive and sparkling perfume is created with a mixture of fruit and florals. The citrus top notes often remind me of pink grapefruit, which in my opinion, smells wonderful as a fragrance. Secret Wish’s scent is refreshing; subtle yet unique. It is great for the spring and summer seasons. Notes included are: Lemon, Melon and Apricot-Scented Flowers, Pineapple, Black Current, White Cedarwood, and Amber.

Review: Versace’s Bright Crystal is Delightful

I have a fetish for pink perfumes, so when I saw Bright Crystal I knew I had to own it. This will probably result in a biased review due to my favoritism toward anything pink. Fortunately, dear reader, Versace’s Bright Crystal will not disappoint. In fact, I believe you will find this perfume absolutely delightful.

Bright Crystal FOR WOMEN by Versace - 3.0 oz EDT Spray

Versace Bright Crystal was introduced in 2006. It comes in a clear bottle with an over the top crystal lid. The presentation is beautiful, and the container is designed to match its name, Bright Crystal.

The first impression of Bright Crystal is crispy and fresh. It is comprised of yuzu and pomegranate with a delicious blend of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower. There are no heavy base notes that can sometime become overbearing. However, if you like perfumes that are stronger, Bright Crystal is on the light side. Therefore, you will need to reapply often if you do choose to use it.

Versace Bright Crystal retails for $62 to $82 USD. At discount perfume stores, the price ranges between $29 to $56 USD. Below are some links to online discount retailers that carry this perfume, listed by size:
