Although I haven’t seen many of Audrey Tautou’s movies, I’ve heard many positive reviews of her performance. At least, I know she did a good job in the Da Vinci Code.
Apparently, she has now replaced the Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as the new face for Chanel No. 5. It looks like we will no longer be seeing Nicole’s face when we shop at the fragrance counters at department stores.
The perfume’s new ad campaign will start off with a short film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet starring Audrey Tautou, of course, in the leading role. The short film is scheduled to launch in 2009.

Forbes has compiled a list of the most expensive perfumes a while back, and these perfumes remain as the top 12 until this day. As discussed in a previous article, perfume can get expensive for the average consumer. However, these 12 perfumes are extremely pricey. Even if we’re all perfume lovers, but are they really worth it?
*Please note that the provided information is from Forbes. We rearranged the order of the perfumes according to their cost per ounce, which makes more sense because the prices from the original article did not take size into consideration. All prices are in USD.

Six more days (not including today) until Christmas, and you’re in a panic because you haven’t found the perfect gift for your parent, significant other, or friend. Fear not! Perfume always make a wonderful present, and I’ve compiled a list of ideas you might find helpful.
For the young lady

Marc Jacobs Daisy (Eau de Toilette): Introduced this year, Marc Jacobs Daisy comes in a cute daisy-inspired bottle. It is light, fresh, and feminine. Like the name, Daisy is scented with floral notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, and White Woods.

Very Irresistible Givenchy (Eau de Toilette): Launched in 2003, Very Irresistible is vibrant and fun. It’s suitable for anyone between 20 to 30 years old. The scent is a union of classic French style with American pop culture style. Although it’s mainly composed of flower notes, it does not smell overly flowery. Included notes are: Centifolia Rose, Peony Rose, Fantasia Rose, Passion Rose, Emotion Rose, Verbena Leaf, and Star Anise.

DKNY Be Delicious (Eau de Parfum): Modern, fun, and unique. The scent and package was inspired by NYC’s nickname, “The Big Apple.” It was launched in the U.S. during 2004. Be Delicious is a combination of apple scent and an incredible blend of exotic flowers and sensual woods. Notes included are: American Apple, Cucumber, Grapefruit, Candid Magnolia, Tuberose, White Muguet, Rose, Violet, Sandalwood, Tender Skin Accord, Blonde Woods, and White Amber. Like its name, the fragrance is delicious enough to make you want to take a bite … read more »
