Audrey Tautou to Replace Nicole Kidman for Chanel

Audrey TautouAlthough I haven’t seen many of Audrey Tautou’s movies, I’ve heard many positive reviews of her performance. At least, I know she did a good job in the Da Vinci Code.

Apparently, she has now replaced the Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as the new face for Chanel No. 5. It looks like we will no longer be seeing Nicole’s face when we shop at the fragrance counters at department stores.

The perfume’s new ad campaign will start off with a short film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet starring Audrey Tautou, of course, in the leading role. The short film is scheduled to launch in 2009.
